About The Position

Perrygo is a small, rapidly growing company seeking a highly motivated and energetic Senior Network Operations Engineer. This role supports a Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD, on an active, funded contract. The company is passionate about its employees and supporting its customers' missions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 of the Sec+/CASP/JNCIA/CCNA or equivalent certs
  • 7 - 10 years of applicable work experience
  • Top Secret security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Cisco Catalyst Center for network automation, assurance, visibility, and policy enforcement.
  • Implement and operate Software-Defined Access (SD-Access) environments for secure segmentation and simplified network management.
  • Integrate SD-Access solutions with existing enterprise network infrastructure to enhance scalability and agility.
  • Manage and optimize fabric technologies, including VXLAN, LISP, and TrustSec.
  • Administer Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control, authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement.
  • Configure NSA Type 1 encryptors, including multicast VLAN mapping and secure transport configurations.
  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, multicast (PIM), and routing/switching fundamentals.
  • Implement and manage network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems, and access control mechanisms.
  • Support multi-vendor network environments, including Cisco, Juniper, Dell, and Brocade/Ruckus equipment.
  • Utilize network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, GEMone, and Cisco Prime to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configure and manage virtualization and cloud networking technologies, including VMware NSX.
  • Maintain and update Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
  • Configure and maintain Network Policy Server (NPS) for RADIUS-based authentication and access control.
  • Perform network automated deployment, segmentation, and security using Cisco Catalyst Center.
  • Conduct network access control for on site connectivity and RA-VPN connections using Cisco ISE.
  • Configure NSA Type 1 encryptors, including multicast VLAN mapping and secure transport configurations.
  • Support multi-vendor network environments, including Cisco, Juniper, Dell, and Brocade/Ruckus equipment.
  • Utilize network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and GEMone.
  • Configure and manage virtualization and cloud networking technologies, including VMware NSX.
