About The Position

Halogen Engineering Group is seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco and AI technologies. This role involves building complex networks from the ground up, maintaining existing infrastructure, and providing advisory services. The engineer will also focus on network design, including routing, switching, and security, while considering the implications of AI on network management.

Requirements

Experience with building complex networks from scratch.
Experience maintaining existing networks.
Background/experience with AI, in particular the capabilities and risks AI would introduce to managing networks.
Ability to serve/skilled at serving in an advisory capacity.
Experience in network design to include routing, switching, and network security is required.
CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is required.
A Master's degree with eight (8) years of system engineering experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with ten (10) years of systems engineering experience in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university OR a High School Diploma or GED with fourteen (14) years of network engineering experience.
Current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Polygraph clearance required.
