About The Position

This role is for a Network Engineer with a focus on designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for a large enterprise environment. The position requires significant experience with IP routing protocols, DDoS mitigation, ACL configuration, and working with Cisco Nexus and/or Arista platforms. The engineer will also be involved in creating technical documentation, working within a Product/Agile environment, and collaborating with auditors.

Requirements

3+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environment.
3+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), specializing in implementing DDoS mitigation strategies and configuring ACLs in a large enterprise environment.
3+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, military experience, education.
3+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching latest platforms and solutions - Cisco Nexus and/or Arista product line.

Nice To Haves

CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred - Datacenter.
Bachelor's degree in computer science / engineering and/or 3+ Years of Networking Experience
Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams.
Experience working in a Product/Agile environment utilizing Atlassian Jira products.
Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship building skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio Professional
Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration.
Experience preferred with scripting YAML/Python/Ansible/GITHUB
Ability to make decisions quickly in a high-volume hosting environment.
Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues.
Ability to coordinate, document and drive flawless execution.
