About The Position

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a multi-site Cisco switch refresh program. The role involves configuring, migrating, and deploying network equipment with minimal business disruption. The position is based in McKinney, TX, with potential travel to deployment sites as needed. This is a hybrid role, involving a mix of remote and on-site work, with off-hours support required during cutovers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years Network-Routing and Switching-Cisco experience
• 5+ years strong hands-on with Cisco 3850 & 9300 switches
• 5+ years expertise in Layer 2/3, VLANs, trunking, STP
• 3+ years proficiency in Cisco IOS / IOS-XE CLI
• Experience with multi-site deployments and cutovers

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of firewalls (basic configuration, policy review, troubleshooting)
• Preferred CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise)
• Experience with large-scale network refresh programs
• Familiarity with ITIL/change management

Responsibilities

• Configure and standardize Cisco 9300 switch templates
• Migrate 3850 configurations and execute deployments/cutovers
• Support on-site and remote implementations with field teams
• Perform validation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation, inventory, and deployment artifacts
• Track risks/issues and provide updates to PMO
