About The Position

Ready Rabbit Delivery is seeking 10 full-time Delivery Associates to deliver Amazon Prime Packages in the greater Dallas area. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role where you will be on your feet, in and out of the van 200+ times a day, working in all weather conditions. You will drive company step vans and deliver packages to homes and businesses throughout the Dallas Metroplex, starting from the Amazon station in McKinney, TX (DDX2). The role requires loading packages and following a pre-planned delivery route.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license that has not expired
• Pass a 5-panel drug screen (includes marijuana)
• Have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs.
• Must be able to get in and out of a van frequently throughout the day (in all types of weather) – you will have 200 or more stops every shift.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
• Excellent customer service skills.
• MUST BE ATLEAST 21 YEARS OLD

Responsibilities

• Drive company step vans and deliver packages to homes and businesses throughout the Dallas Metroplex.
• Load packages and follow a pre-planned delivery route.
• Get in and out of a van frequently throughout the day (in all types of weather) for 200 or more stops every shift.
• Use a smartphone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members.
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions.
• Be a safe driver as this is evaluated on a driver performance APP, by in-vehicle cameras, and through constant motor vehicle reporting.

Benefits

• Health benefits (medical, dental, vision, STD, Life Insurance) for full-time Delivery Associates with 30+ hours per week, eligibility begins 30 days after hiring.
• Paid every two weeks (biweekly).
• Bonus potential up to $3.50 per hour and a $10 daily bonus when drivers become step-van trained and deliver a step-van route.
• Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half over 40 hours per week.
