Network Engineer, Mid The Opportunity: A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? As a Network Engineer, you will help develop, modernize, and sustain secure and resilient network capabilities that support critical defense operations. You’ll use your skills in network design, architecture, Layer 2/3 technologies, and system interoperability to improve reliability, availability, and performance across mission‑focused environments. You will also contribute to engineering efforts including implementation planning, technical reviews, test activities, and upgrades supporting enterprise‑wide modernization. You’ll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, gateway protocol, and virtual routing and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.
