CISCO Network Engineer II, Day Shift, Information Technology
About The Position
Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Network Engineer II who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Network Engineer II, you will support designing and implementing networks, installing and managing common network devices, and troubleshooting common problems. You will work closely with network vendors to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and efficient. Primarily, you will perform as 2nd tier operational support in Service Operation processes for all network-related systems. The supported systems include Cisco hardware and software, such as Catalyst Switches, ASR routers, ASA firewalls, Wireless LAN Controllers, VPN Concentrators, AnyConnect, Cisco ISE, and OpenDNS.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting Cisco networks in an enterprise environment
- At least one of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or similar networking certification
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or information technology is preferred
- 1+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry or mission critical industry is preferred
