About The Position

As our IT Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and advancing Qualstar's network infrastructure while ensuring it supports the organization's business goals and technology needs. You'll work with the organization to understand business and technology needs, recommend strategic solutions, and ensure our network environment is secure, reliable, and aligned with our goals. This is a key role that works closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of networking solutions with Qualstar's other systems and technologies. You'll also have the opportunity to evaluate emerging networking technologies, participate in feasibility studies, and help lead the development and implementation of solutions that support Qualstar's continued growth. You'll also serve as a resource and technical mentor to other members of the IT team, sharing knowledge and helping strengthen the team's overall capabilities. Because we're a highly regulated financial institution, you'll be expected to work within established policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and professional standards. Just as importantly, you'll bring a strong service mindset to everything you do, while consistently demonstrating Qualstar's core values.

Requirements

• Specific and recent hands-on expertise in most of our key technologies.
• Ability to configure a switch and help shape a strategic network technology plan.
• Broad knowledge base across the full technology stack, from hardware & telephony to next-gen firewalls.
• Enjoy taking ownership and being accountable for an entire network technology ecosystem.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
