About The Position

The Network Deployment Engineer Team Lead is a hybrid role split evenly between hands-on technical execution and team leadership. The role manages infrastructure project intakes, coaches deployment engineers, represents the team to cross-functional stakeholders, and actively deploys and configures global production networks, data centers, and Point of Presence (POP) sites alongside the team. The lead ensures resources are used effectively to support delivery timelines, data quality, and service excellence. The position leads and mentors engineers, manages the incoming deployment and incident queue, supports performance and operational standards, oversees onboarding and secure offboarding, and communicates team status and performance to management. It also handles complex network and server deployments, capacity and equipment planning, vendor and project coordination, automation and asset-management practices, and diagnosis and escalation of infrastructure issues. Travel of 10% to 30% is required as deployment needs dictate. The role requires the ability to lift or move 30–40 pounds.
