  • 8+ years of IP networking experience deploying, migrating, and supporting service-provider, data-center, and/or enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, and VRRP.
  • Experience coordinating and executing hardware installation and configuration.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/UDP, DHCP, and DNS, and experience with IPv4 and IPv6.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise and carrier-class routing, switching, and optical transport platforms.
  • Knowledge of data center design and operational best practices.
  • Experience with Linux OS/networking and analyzing situations and applying problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Proven experience executing network deployment and/or migration projects simultaneously.
  • Experience interacting with vendors and external parties to drive projects to completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with field-based work in collocation facilities, internet exchanges, and central offices.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems.
  • Experience with process improvement and systems development, using automation to streamline repetitive workflows.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices, such as risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment.
  • Network certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or JNCIP.
  • Working knowledge of data center power and cooling infrastructure and critical-facility operational best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact, such as efficiency gains or quality improvements.
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development, such as prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration, and staying current with emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities
