This is a Full-Time Co-Op / Paid Intern position within the IT Infrastructure / Networking Department located in Mississauga, ON.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Engineering or related technical field
  • Foundational knowledge of: Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing), Network hardware (routers, switches, wireless systems)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on technical environment
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to enterprise networking environments or tools
  • Experience through labs, coursework, or personal projects
  • Basic understanding of network security concepts
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL or similar)
  • Some flexibility may be required to support global operations across time zones

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Global Network & Communications team with day-to-day operations across multiple locations
  • Assisting in maintaining the stability of network, security, and voice systems
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
  • Participating in IT Service Management processes including: Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Requests and Fulfillment
  • Assisting with configuration, monitoring, and documentation of: Routers, switches, and wireless access points, IP addressing and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Collaborating with global IT teams, vendors, and end users to support infrastructure needs
  • Supporting documentation efforts for technical procedures, standards, and network diagrams
  • Participating in ongoing projects such as network upgrades, improvements, and deployments
  • Assisting in implementing and monitoring network security solutions and policies
  • Supporting troubleshooting and escalation of network-related incidents
  • Gaining exposure to industry best practices and emerging networking technologies
  • Participating in on-call shadowing or support rotations where applicable
  • Supporting audit preparation and compliance activities as needed
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
