This is a Full-Time Co-Op / Paid Intern position within the IT Infrastructure / Networking Department located in Mississauga, ON.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Engineering or related technical field
Foundational knowledge of: Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing), Network hardware (routers, switches, wireless systems)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on technical environment
Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

Exposure to enterprise networking environments or tools
Experience through labs, coursework, or personal projects
Basic understanding of network security concepts
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL or similar)
Some flexibility may be required to support global operations across time zones

Responsibilities

Supporting the Global Network & Communications team with day-to-day operations across multiple locations
Assisting in maintaining the stability of network, security, and voice systems
Monitoring and troubleshooting network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
Participating in IT Service Management processes including: Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Requests and Fulfillment
Assisting with configuration, monitoring, and documentation of: Routers, switches, and wireless access points, IP addressing and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Collaborating with global IT teams, vendors, and end users to support infrastructure needs
Supporting documentation efforts for technical procedures, standards, and network diagrams
Participating in ongoing projects such as network upgrades, improvements, and deployments
Assisting in implementing and monitoring network security solutions and policies
Supporting troubleshooting and escalation of network-related incidents
Gaining exposure to industry best practices and emerging networking technologies
Participating in on-call shadowing or support rotations where applicable
Supporting audit preparation and compliance activities as needed
Other duties and projects as assigned
