About The Position

This is a full-time position within the Patient Services department, responsible for serving as the primary contact between referring physicians and internal constituents to increase referrals to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. The role involves coordinating and developing field training programs, supporting institutional strategic and marketing plans, providing market intelligence, and promoting educational programs. The position requires extensive experience in the insurance/payer ecosystem and international business relationship development, with a preference for a Master's degree and proficiency in English, Spanish, and French.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
  • Serve as the first line contact between referring physicians and internal constituents (including affiliates) to increase referrals to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, as well as garner trust and open two-way communications.
  • Coordinates and develops field training program and materials for physician liaisons and coaches WFUBMC staff when needed.
  • Supports the institutional strategic and marketing plans by facilitating referrals to WFUBMC/affiliates.
  • Provide market intelligence to appropriate Medical Center leadership.
  • Promotes educational programs to support regional physician, nursing and allied health educational needs.
  • Demonstrates responsibility for daily activities and personal development.
