The Network Administrator is responsible for aspects of systems administration related to the company’s domestic and international network. This individual holds primary responsibility for network operating systems, IP telephony, cameras, and ancillary hardware and software used in the installation, management and tuning of those environments. The role implements, configures, coordinates, controls, maintains, troubleshoots, secures, monitors, and reacts to usage/capacity/performance monitoring and develops specialized system procedures to accomplish this work. The role performs basic administration functions, including maintaining accurate asset information, monitoring and managing system resources, resolving performance issues, maintaining system documentation, troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems and network related activities. The role also serves as the primary interface to any vendors engaged to provide these services.
