About The Position

Assured Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Network Administrator Level 3 to join their team. As a Tier 3 Network Operations Engineer, you will be continuously challenged to solve complex tasks requiring extensive research, teamwork, and creativity. You will design and deliver solutions requiring a high level of coordination and technical ability. You will write high-level technical documents to articulate problems and solutions to an audience of varying technical backgrounds. Under this program, we support our intel customer across numerous operational locations. Our focus is to transform the organization’s technical services through the development of network standards, implementation of industry best practices, and integration of new technology and tools. The T3 Network Operations team is charged with the development of network standards, network design, implementation of configurations, and operation of systems enabling the customer to complete their mission. Over the life of the contract, the team will drive continuous service improvement through technical modernization of customer LANs, WANs, UC, and video and streaming services.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency.
  • Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • IAT II and CCNA Certifications
  • High School Diploma/GED + 9 years of relevant experience OR Associates + 7 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree + 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work onsite in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environment, as required
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with government customers, technical teams, and cross-functional partners
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to analyze requirements and contribute to technical solutions in a mission-driven environment
  • Ability to follow established processes and contribute to problem-solving efforts
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver quality work under deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with both Cisco and Juniper network devices
  • Strong working knowledge of the various routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x).
  • In-depth knowledge of KG-175 Series TACLANES configuration process, fault isolation, and firmware upgrade procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco-ISE

Responsibilities

  • Network implementation and installation of technical projects within a site or locale.
  • Facilitating engineering design data calls.
  • Identify and recommend network changes that enhance operational efficiencies for network monitoring, management, and operations.
  • Troubleshooting network failures and accessibility issues.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Develop network-related implementation and deployment documentation.
  • Develop network designs that meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead research and testing of new or modified hardware or software products to determine performance and interoperability.
  • Design and implement new solutions.
  • Will require travel to other sites for network operations and administration activities.
  • May require unpacking, moving network components of average weight and volume.
