Ensure stability, security, and efficient operation of Army enterprise network environments within the NETCOM Global Management Team (GMT). Provide advanced administration, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting of critical network infrastructure for the Army Enterprise Network and JRSS environments. Operate effectively within a high‑tempo 24/7/365 mission environment, supporting continuous operations. Lead high‑impact incident response activities and coordinate restoration efforts. Maintain and secure boundary protection systems in accordance with DoD and Army cybersecurity standards. Collaborate with mission partners including Theater Signal Commands, DISA, RCCs, and NECs. Manage routers, firewalls, load balancers, and related network services. Contribute to automation improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure compliance with enterprise security mandates. Apply deep technical knowledge and strong diagnostic skills to support mission‑critical systems. Mentor junior network administrators and support their technical development. Participate in engineering initiatives, enterprise planning sessions, and technical review activities.

Requirements

  • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience supporting DoDIN‑Army or DoD enterprise networking environments
  • Mastery of enterprise routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VRRP/HSRP)
  • Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or other Army‑utilized platforms
  • Working knowledge of DISA STIGs, RMF, ACAS, and Army cybersecurity compliance
  • DoD 8570/8140 certification, such as, CISSP or CASP required
  • Networking certification such as CCNA, JNCIS, or JNCIA required, (JNCIS-ENT, JNCIP or CCNP preferred)
  • Top Secret with SCI security clearance
  • Ability to support global maintenance windows and after‑hours operational needs
  • Ability to work onsite or hybrid depending on mission requirements
  • Capability to operate effectively in a 24/7 mission‑critical environment
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills
  • US Citizenship Required

  • JNCIS-ENT, JNCIP or CCNP preferred
