The ideal candidate combines advanced technical expertise with strong leadership, cybersecurity, and project management skills to support critical business operations and drive technology innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in network administration, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, IT risk management, or a related technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, systems administration, cloud technologies, and infrastructure security.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with industry regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Commitment to operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • All candidates must live in, or be willing to locate to, the state of Maine.

  • Experience with automation, AI-driven solutions, and process improvement initiatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, monitor, and maintain enterprise infrastructure, including cloud, on-premises, networking, and unified communications systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while working with vendors and internal teams.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, modernization efforts, and technology improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement solutions that leverage automation, AI, and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Plan and manage major IT infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across the IT team.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and readiness.
  • Participate in on-call support and provide after-hours assistance when needed.
  • Support and strengthen the organization's cybersecurity program and information security initiatives.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage security controls, vulnerability remediation, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Participate in audits, compliance reviews, regulatory examinations, and related remediation efforts.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support third-party/vendor risk management processes.
  • Help ensure the protection of systems, networks, and sensitive information through adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
