About The Position

Oracle NetSuite is seeking Sales Account Executives with a successful background selling software. You will sell NetSuite’s cloud-based business operations system, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Accounting, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Professional Service Automation (PSA), and eCommerce. This role requires being in-office 3 days per week out of a NetSuite Location: Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, or Santa Monica, CA. The role involves selling application solutions within a geographic territory with a focus on net new logos, managing sales through prospecting, lead qualification, forecasting, resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. You will network internally with NetSuite Peers/Leadership, Value Added Teams, Marketing and Enablement to increase sales performance, and work closely with BDRs and Solutions Consultants. You will develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the business applications and participate in the creation, presentation, and sale of a complete value proposition via telephone, internet, and in-person customer meetings. You will lead and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling, negotiation, and close of business.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of SaaS/Technology sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting solutions, business solutions, ecommerce, ERP or CRM in a sales capacity.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close a sale.
  • Proven track record as a 'hunter' and regularly on company's top producer's list with supporting statistics.
  • Tremendous work ethic, laser focus, passion, and dedication.
  • Ability to learn technology and translate it into value for prospects.
  • Responsive, adaptable, and 100% passionate about results and ownership.
  • Industry related experience in Construction and Energy.
  • Strong experience working in collaborative, team-based environments.

Responsibilities

  • Works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory. Territory may be combination of geographic, product, industry and other customer / market dimensions.
  • Sells to the territory directly or via partners. The territory that this rep covers does not have an Inside Sales Rep or Field Rep.
  • Utilizes inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities.
  • Manages accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborates with team members in business development, consulting and support to uncover all customer needs.
  • Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
  • Travels to customer sites to identify / develop sales opportunities.
  • Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition.
  • Onsite customer presentation with C-levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals.
  • Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities and maximizing sales.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.
