DOT NET Support Lead role in Jersey City NJ
About The Position
The .NET Support Lead will provide production and application support for critical Hedge Fund applications for a financial services client, primarily SS&C Geneva. The role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving complex application and database issues, supporting applications built with C#, .NET, and SQL Server, and maintaining application stability, availability, and performance. The lead will collaborate with global business and technology teams, manage incidents, conduct root cause analysis, implement system improvements, and use AI-powered tools to improve support and troubleshooting efficiency. The position is onsite in Jersey City, New Jersey, four days per week.
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
- Expertise in SQL Server.
- Solid application/production support experience in .NET environments.
- Working knowledge of Linux.
- Exposure to AI-assisted tools such as Windsurf, Devin, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SS&C Geneva or Hedge Fund applications.
- Financial Services / Capital Markets domain experience.
- Exposure to MongoDB.
