About The Position

SunSoftOnline is hiring a .NET Full-Stack Developer for the Arizona Department of Education's IT Division. This role involves building and maintaining statewide online application systems that support over one million K-12 students, along with hundreds of thousands of parents, teachers, and school staff. The primary focus will be on the development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of web applications and backend processes within a Microsoft technology stack. Responsibilities include reviewing business requirements and design specifications, designing and unit testing new features, building new applications, debugging and fixing defects, providing development estimates, participating in Scrum ceremonies and code reviews, and coordinating with Network Services and Operations teams for environment and deployment management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software application development.
  • Full-stack development with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core 3.1+, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Razor Pages, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Advanced object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles.
  • Microsoft Azure: Application Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts.
  • SQL Server development, stored procedures and functions, relational database modeling.
  • Power BI development including semantic models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations embedded in secured web applications.
  • Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Services or equivalent source control.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must reside in Arizona and be Phoenix-local at submission.
  • Current city required on resume.
