About The Position

Starling Physicians has a current opening for a Board Certified Nephrologist. Why choose a general hospitalist job when a nephrology hospitalist opportunity allows you to fully utilize your training? We are looking for BE/BC Nephrologists interested in focusing on hospital care as an inpatient-focused nephrologist performing consultative nephrology services including management of AKI, electrolyte abnormalities, ICU nephrology, CRRT, acute hemo and peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis services. We strongly believe in a team approach, and you will be part of a weekly rotation with 3-4 Nephrologists and 2 advanced practitioners dedicated to full-time hospital work. Resident and advanced practitioner teaching opportunities are available. Join a team of 15 Nephrologists, representing general, interventional and transplant nephrology. This is a 7 on / 7 off service, with no admitting, consultative only, sharing with approximately 1 in 15 from-home night call. Our team includes an Inpatient nephrology nurse navigator, and fulltime 24/7 access surgery service (no lines to place), and integrated renal transplant service support.

Requirements

• Board Certified Nephrologist
• Must be able to obtain Connecticut licensure before you begin practicing
• Board Certification and DEA license required
