About The Position

This position has been allocated for a board certified physician. Hospitalist (Internal Medicine) When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: We are searching for collaborative hospitalists to join an inpatient team rotating at Utah Valley Hospital. This position includes a $15,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance (determined by distance), and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually based on meeting quality goals, thoughtful stewardship of our healthcare system, and achieving high standards in performance reviews as they relate to citizenship. This is a great opportunity to provide direct inpatient care with the assistance of a nurse coordinator Hospitalist will be expected to participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to residents and medical students. As a 501c3 organization, our caregivers are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) You will practice primarily at Utah Valley Hospital with regular rotations required at Spanish Fork Hospital and with the Tele-Hospitalist service. While this is classified as a day shift opportunity, a balance of swing and night shifts will also be necessary though the majority of nights will be staffed by Nocturnists.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency training Internal Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
