About The Position
We are seeking a Nephrologist for a Locum Tenens position in Manteca, CA. This is a full-time, outpatient clinical role covering from January 1, 2027, to April 2, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. The physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive nephrology care, including managing outpatient patients and performing dialysis access procedures. Collaboration with support staff and documentation using the Advanced MD EMR system are key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Active CA license or willing to obtain
- BC/BE in Nephrology
- DEA Required
Responsibilities
- Provide full-time nephrology coverage Monday through Friday
- Perform dialysis access procedures (catheters, declog, fistulagram)
- Manage outpatient nephrology patients
- Collaborate with support staff including rad techs, nurses, and medical assistants
- Utilize Advanced MD EMR for documentation and patient records
