About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an experienced, stable and well-respected Neonatology team of Physicians and Neonatology Nurse Practitioners in a nice blended model providing 24/7 Neonatology coverage for 30 NICU beds. The practice setting is Inpatient with a Level III NICU and PICU. There is a 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalist service and a 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist Service, with great access to all Pediatric Sub-specialists and excellent support staff.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatology
• Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
