About The Position
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with Queens Hospital Center, is seeking a Full-Time Neonatologist to join the Division of Neonatal Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics. Queens Hospital Center is part of the New York City public hospital system (NYC Health + Hospitals) and serves the diverse community of Southern Queens. The hospital is a Baby Friendly USA Designated Birthing Facility and a certified Gold level Cribs for Kids Unit. The NICU is a busy 15-bed Level 3 unit offering most services except neonatal surgeries. The position offers opportunities for program development and academic study in areas such as antibiotic and medication stewardship, quality of care, developmental care, POC ultrasound, patient safety initiatives, and teaching. Innovative programs addressing early childhood development and the mother-baby couplet are integrated into both inpatient and outpatient care.
Requirements
- Completion of a Neonatal Fellowship
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine
- Valid New York State License
