About The Position
Icahn School of Medicine’s affiliation with Queens Hospital Center seeks a full time or part time board certified/eligible noninvasive Cardiologist to join the Cardiology Team. NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens is the first municipal hospital in the borough of Queens. The hospital offers high-quality care for Cancer, Diabetes Management, Women’s Health and Behavioral Health. All faculty have an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Requirements
- Board certified/board eligible in Cardiovascular disease.
- Board certified in echo.
Nice To Haves
- Board certification in performance/interpretation of cardiac CT is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms on a rotational basis.
- Performance of TEE’s and stress tests.
- Inpatient/outpatient cardiology consults.
- CCU rotation.
- Interpretation of holter monitors, event recorders and EKG’s.
- Supervision/teaching of Medical Students/Residents/Physician Assistants.
