About The Position

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, is seeking an Open Rank faculty member to serve the clinical and educational missions of the Division of Neonatology. The division is based at Tampa General Hospital (TGH), a 1,018-bed teaching hospital affiliated with the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. TGH is a private not-for-profit hospital and one of the most comprehensive medical facilities in west central Florida. It features a Level 1 trauma center and a Level 3 NICU, the 82-bed Jennifer Leigh Muma NICU, which is a designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center. USF/TGH Neonatology also participates in the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated physician, preferably with expertise in neonatal neurocritical care, to join the team. This position may include serving as Medical Director for Neonatal Neurocritical Care, with opportunities to lead program development, quality initiatives, and strategic growth.
