About The Position
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the UNC School of Medicine is seeking a Gastroenterologist with expertise in subspecialty gastroenterology. This position is being recruited as open rank on the fixed-term track, with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Our division offers a wide range of subspecialty focuses, including inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal disease, motility disorders, and advanced endoscopy.
Requirements
- Proficiency in gastroenterology and endoscopy with an interest in clinical education and/or research
- Exemplary clinical skills
Responsibilities
- Perform endoscopic procedures
- Provide care in outpatient clinics (in Chapel Hill and outreach clinics)
- Provide inpatient consults
- Actively participate in the training of GI fellows, residents, and medical students
