About The Position

A permanent Neonatal Nurse Practitioner position serving facilities in Savannah and Carrollton, Georgia. The service setting includes inpatient and outpatient care, and coverage is needed for a vacancy on an ongoing basis. Work schedules are to be determined in Savannah and consist of 16–24-hour shifts in Carrollton. Coverage is clinical only.

The role involves managing critically ill and premature neonates in a high-acuity setting. The Savannah facility has a 92-bed Level IV NICU; the Carrollton facility has a 20-bed Level III newborn nursery unit. The practice includes nine neonatologists and eight full-time APPs. The organization describes a collaborative physician and APP culture, advanced NICU technology and resources, and a coastal Georgia regional referral center. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with mentorship and training support available.

Requirements

• Active Georgia license or willingness to obtain one.
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialty certification.
• DEA registration.
• Neonatology training or fellowship.
• Most recent NPDB report, active and dated within 30 days.
• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) or higher.
