About The Position

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a full-time experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a collaborative, high-performing neonatal care team providing coverage across multiple hospitals in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers a dynamic work environment, strong clinical support, and an exceptional coastal lifestyle. The NNP will provide neonatal care in Level II NICUs and normal newborn nurseries, with a mix of 16-24-hour shifts for work-life balance. Responsibilities include attending deliveries (no transport required) and delivering care across four hospitals within St. Vincent’s Health System (2 facilities) and HCA Hospitals (2 facilities). The NNP will be assigned to a specific healthcare system and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 6 Neonatologists, 1 Pediatrician, and 16 Advanced Practice Providers. The role allows for a high level of autonomy, supported by in-house and on-call neonatologist backup, within a team-oriented, collegial environment. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. Locums candidates, fresh graduates, and visa candidates are not being accepted.

Requirements

  • Full-time experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
  • NNP experience minimum of one year
  • DEA License required
  • Residency within the immediate local area
  • Florida State License
