About The Position

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, certified NNP for per diem coverage at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL. This brand new Level II NICU is designed for growth and supported by an established regional network. The projected NICU average daily census is 5–6 by year-end, with a newborn nursery ADC of 6–7, and approximately 2,000 annual deliveries. Support is available from Pediatrix’s flagship Level IV NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital (142 beds). The role involves a collaborative care model with Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs), and Pediatric Hospitalists. NNP staffing includes 24-hour in-house shifts.

Requirements

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• FL license required
• Experienced, certified NNP

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem coverage for a new Level II NICU.
• Collaborate with Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, and Pediatric Hospitalists.
• Work 24-hour in-house shifts.
