About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to support our team based at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, IL. HSHS Medical Group is a multispecialty medical group made up of over 350 providers across 60 clinics throughout central and southern Illinois. HSHS Medical Group is an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System, which is a Catholic, non-profit integrated healthcare delivery system comprised of 13 hospitals across Illinois and Wisconsin guided by our mission and grounded in modern best practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
• Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
• Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
• Federal DEA license is preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up shifts as your schedule allows
• 24 hour shifts in house
• Support our team in a Level II Nursery
