As our Per Diem NICU Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will help high-risk neonates and infants receive expert clinical management and family-centered care so they can achieve optimal health outcomes. Every day you will apply your advanced clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat complex conditions in critically ill neonates, while also educating families, contributing to program administration, and advancing evidence-based practice through research. You will be expected to perform comprehensive physical examinations, interpret diagnostic findings, execute a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage emergencies in diverse settings, and collaborate extensively with interdisciplinary teams. To be successful in this role you must strategically lead the clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants, working collaboratively with medical, nursing, and support services to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care. You will demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise, fulfill significant educational and administrative duties, engage in consulting, and actively initiate and implement research to continuously advance the standards of neonatal care.
