About The Position

We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for FALL 2026 interns in NY & LA. NEON internships are built around real work, the kind that actually appears in the world and moves the needle for films we believe in. For students who want to understand how independent film really works from the inside, there's no better place to build meaningful connections and get mentored by people who genuinely love what they do. We're looking for curious, driven students who are excited to dive into the world of independent film, particularly in the realm of distribution, and who are ready to contribute from day one. Whether your interests lie in marketing, publicity, sales, acquisitions, or distribution, we'll place you where your skills and passions can shine. This program is designed to empower you to highlight your talents while building a solid foundation for our future careers. This internship is part of NEON's Undergraduate Internship Program, which gives you more than a single-team experience. Beyond working closely with your assigned team, you'll take part in structured programming, get cross-functional exposure across the company, and go through professional development alongside a cohort of fellow interns. What makes the NEON internship different: Dive Deep — Get practical experience across film distribution, from marketing and publicity to acquisitions, digital distribution, and theatrical sales. Find Your Fit — We tailor your internship to your interests, placing you on projects that actually inspire you. Become Part of the Team — You'll work alongside industry veterans who are serious about mentoring the next generation. What you'll gain: Hands-on industry experience, behind-the-scenes insight into how independent film really works, professional connections that outlast the summer, and the confidence to take on whatever comes next. As a NEON intern, you’ll have the opportunity to be mentored by industry professionals who are passionate about nurturing the next wave of filmmakers and industry innovators.
