About The Position

The NEO Trainer (New Employee Orientation Trainer) supports new employee orientation, agency-wide training, and employee development at Kittitas Interactive Management (KIM). The role assists with training coordination and instruction, employee communication, Human Resources processes, and maintaining the records needed to support agency operations and compliance. The position reinforces KIM’s Standards of Excellence—Consistency in Care, Integrity in Operations, and Stability & Growth—through training, documentation, and coordination. A significant and recurring part of the role is high-volume filing and ongoing maintenance of employee personnel, confidential, and training records. Records must be accurate, complete, secure, current, and readily retrievable by authorized staff. The position also helps organize and deliver training, coordinate schedules, monitor employee progress, support HR communications and workflows, and contribute to program descriptions and evaluations as assigned. The position requires flexibility to work at KIM’s Yakima and Ellensburg offices on a variable basis according to business needs. The normal work environment is a climate-controlled office with moderate noise and limited exposure to extreme temperatures, poor ventilation, or fumes; no known environmental hazards are encountered during normal duties. The role also includes participation in a scheduled Tier 3 Ready Squad rotation in a waiting-to-be-engaged status and maintaining availability for physical deployment and on-site relief across agency-supported living homes to address mandatory home coverage and critical shift vacancies when Tier 1 and Tier 2 cascades are exhausted.
