As our NDT Penetrant Inspector, you will perform NDT penetrant inspections to detect defects in components and materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting engineering and production teams in maintaining quality and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in NDT and/or completion of a recognized NDT certification program.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively report findings.
• Must be willing and available to work any shift (2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm, 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am).
• All candidates must be U.S. citizens.
• Selected applicants are required to successfully complete a pre-employment check and drug screening.
• In addition, the position may require the ability to obtain and maintain applicable federal eligibility requirements for access to classified/sensitive information or matter which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test, previous employment, and reference verifications.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain PT certification in accordance with company qualification requirements and within company-defined timelines. Additional certifications in NDT methods as directed by the company (VT).
• Perform visual inspections of materials and components to identify surface defects according to company criteria.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine inspection requirements.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of inspection activities, findings, and results in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct penetrant inspections using approved internal procedures and inspection techniques.
• Collaborate with NDT Engineers and other stakeholders to discuss inspection findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Use approved inspection tools and measuring instruments; accurately document inspection results.
• Assist others with inspection techniques and safety practices.
• Report inspection results clearly and accurately through documentation, process sheets, and logs.
• Participate in audits and quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with industry standards and continuous improvement.
