ATS is seeking NDT experienced NDT Level II (4 methods) and/or CWI and/or API Techs to support our San Diego, CA office. This position is open to experienced Level II NDT Techs, CWI and API Inspectors. Multiple/Additional certs preferred. Must be local to San Diego County, CA or willing to relocate. These are Part time call out and also Permanent positions with benefits for permanent hires and a pay range of $25 to $45+ per hour based on experience and certs held. Travel includes SoCal up to Oakland/SF area.

Requirements

  • Supporting certs and documentation for NDT/CWI/API qualifications including official formal training, OJT/Experience hours documentation as applicable.
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or national; U.S. lawful permanent resident; person granted refugee status; or person granted asylum in the United States).

Responsibilities

  • Supporting customers and projects in the field while conducting NDT and inspections in most methods.
  • Collecting, managing, and evaluating test data for accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintaining and reporting test results.
  • Completing reports and documentation as required.
  • Reading technical documents and engineering specifications.
  • Following precise directions and procedures.
  • Working safely; maintaining a clean and safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Adapting to an ever-changing schedule.
  • Using computers for data entry.
