NDT level 3 (Onsite)
About The Position
The Quality and Process Engineering (Q&PE) organization is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level 3 module center support professional to work with internal Pratt & Whitney business units, suppliers, and partners to develop and continuously improve NDT systems. As part of the Q&PE NDT team, this role performs NDT audits and certifications, provides technical guidance and inspection system oversight, and drives process improvements. The NDT proficiencies under consideration are Etch, FPI, ECI, and X-ray, including film, digital, and computer radiography. This is an onsite, U.S.-based position in East Hartford, Connecticut. U.S. citizenship is required to access information under the program or contract. A security clearance is not required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of NDT experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Currently hold Level 2 or Level 3 certification in NDT methods.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with training, personnel testing, and auditing NDT systems.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Suite.
