About The Position

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the internal Ultrasonic Testing program. The position is classified as full-time, Non-Exempt. This position may also require occasional long hours and weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma with relevant industry experience, or Associate’s degree in a technical discipline preferred
• Being familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as used by the employer
• When specified in the written practice, being capable of developing work instructions from approved general procedures and submit to Responsible Level 3 for approval
• Possessing basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology
• NAS 410 Level 2 accreditation for immersion ultrasonic inspection

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating a Tac-Tic round bar inspection system

Responsibilities

• Working collectively with production and Quality departments
• Set up and standardize equipment
• Process products
• Interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection
• Document results
• Being thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of a technique or method
• Conduct systems performance checks in accordance with the applicable process procedure
• Provide the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel
