Requirements

  • Current Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II certification in accordance with NAS 410 or equivalent
  • Minimum 2–4 years of radiographic testing experience (or equivalent documented OJT hours per NAS 410)
  • Hands-on experience with film and/ or digital radiography (CR)
  • Basic knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and applicable codes/ standards
  • Working knowledge of radiation safety practices and regulations’

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with written instructions
  • Carry out any necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection
  • Conduct system performance checks in alignment with SOPs
  • Conduct tests, interpret, and evaluate for acceptance and rejection and document results
  • Provide guidance to trainees and Level 1 Personnel
  • Ability to communicate verbally, visually and in writing
  • Comfort working in a constantly changing environment; adaptability and flexibility are critical in this role
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
