About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced NDE Technician for a full-time position in the Deer Park, TX area. This role involves performing nondestructive inspection of material, parts, components, and/or pressurized systems, interpreting data from tests, maintaining equipment, and supervising NDE activities in accordance with referencing codes. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Area Manager. The technician will develop procedures for performing a variety of duties and perform complex duties within established guidelines. Local candidates are preferred, and no per diem will be provided.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have valid NDE certifications and relevant experience
UT, PT and MT certifications
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, turnaround environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
TWIC card required
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Certifications and resume documentation needed

VT certification
UTT certification

Responsibilities

Performs nondestructive inspection of material, parts, components, and/or pressurized systems.
Interprets data from tests.
Maintains equipment.
Supervises NDE activities in accordance to referencing code.
Develops procedures for performance of variety of duties / performs complex duties within established guidelines.
Conducts NDT inspections in various methods.
Interprets and reports results of inspections.
Provide support to Level III.
Instruct and/or supervise trainees.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
