About The Position

The Arbor Day Foundation is seeking a Nature Interpreter for its 260-acre Arbor Day Farm property. This role involves guiding guests, providing information about the property and the Foundation's mission, and educating visitors of all ages about trees and conservation. The ideal candidate is passionate about the Foundation's mission, enjoys working outdoors year-round, has excellent communication and customer service skills, and is comfortable with heights. This is a seasonal position.

Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for designated shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Give tours of the property, including Tree Adventure, orchards, and other areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Educate guests of all ages about the Arbor Day Foundation's mission and property.
• Inspire guests to engage with the Foundation's mission.
• Problem-solve and look for new ways to improve efficiency and guest experience.
