About The Position

This position serves as the working supervisor for a team of adjudicators responsible for authorizing the sale of State-owned land through the DNR’s statewide competitive land sale offerings administered by the Land Conveyance Section (LCS). This includes managing the day-to-day operations of the Competitive Unit and serving as the lead or point of contact for difficult and/or potential projects. The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) mission is to “develop, conserve and maximize the use of Alaska's natural resources consistent with the public interest.” The DMLW mission is "to provide for the appropriate use and management of Alaska's state-owned land and water, aiming toward maximum use consistent with the public interest.” Within DMLW, the Land Conveyance Section helps fulfill this mission by providing the opportunity for private land ownership through a variety of unique land sale programs and creating opportunities to get Alaska’s Lands into Alaskans’ hands.

Requirements
