About The Position

Nuts 'n Berries is looking for an experienced Natural Health & Supplement Specialist to join their small team in Brookhaven, GA. This is not an entry-level position. The role involves helping customers understand natural health products, developing deep product knowledge, building customer relationships, and contributing to the overall operation of the store. The ideal candidate will have experience in consultative specialty retail and a genuine interest in natural health and wellness.

Requirements

3+ years of customer-facing professional experience required.
Meaningful personal or professional knowledge of supplements, nutrition, or natural health.
Ability to remain calm in a busy retail environment.
Ability to notice what needs to be done without waiting for instructions.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to ask for clarification when priorities conflict.
Ability to help solve problems when something goes wrong.
Ability to own and correct mistakes.
Ability to receive direction without taking it personally.

Responsibilities

Help customers solve problems by listening, asking thoughtful questions, and using product knowledge to explain options.
Develop deep product knowledge by continuing to learn about supplements, foods, herbs, ingredients, formulations, and new products, and sharing this knowledge with customers and coworkers.
Build customer relationships by getting to know regulars, remembering their needs, and becoming a trusted point of contact.
Sell through service by providing excellent recommendations and building genuine relationships.
Keep the store running by operating the register, receiving deliveries, stocking products, merchandising, answering phones, cleaning, organizing, checking dates, and completing other operational tasks.
Notice and communicate out-of-stocks, customer requests, merchandising opportunities, and operational problems.
Be part of the team by jumping in to help others regardless of assigned roles.
