About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing vendor performance, supplier partnerships, warranty administration, compliance management, and contract administration across the RISE portfolio. The goal is to ensure that vendors and suppliers supporting the communities perform at a high level, meet company standards, and remain aligned with operational needs. This position sits at the intersection of Vendor Management, Supplier Relations, Contract Administration, Warranty Resolution, Property Operations, and Construction Support. The role involves working closely with Property Management, Maintenance Leadership, Construction Teams, Suppliers, and Trade Partners to ensure the systems supporting operations are effective, compliant, and scalable. The ideal candidate understands that great vendor relationships require communication, accountability, follow-through, and strong operational discipline.

Requirements

  • Experience in vendor management, supplier management, procurement, contract administration, property operations, construction support, or a related operational role
  • Experience reviewing contracts, pricing proposals, purchase orders, invoices, or service agreements
  • Strong analytical and business judgment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational capability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong follow-through and accountability
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and reporting tools, shared document management systems, vendor management platforms, and AI-enabled productivity tools

Responsibilities

  • Managing vendor onboarding, qualification, and compliance requirements
  • Building and maintaining a network of qualified vendors and suppliers
  • Monitoring insurance, licensing, documentation, and compliance standards
  • Ensuring vendor records remain accurate and current
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for vendor-related warranty issues
  • Coordinating issue resolution with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Tracking warranty claims through completion
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and communication throughout the warranty process
  • Managing vendor agreements, pricing structures, and service contracts
  • Supporting contract negotiations and renewals
  • Reviewing scopes of work and service expectations
  • Maintaining productive long-term vendor partnerships
  • Reviewing purchase orders, invoices, vendor documentation, and related records
  • Supporting supplier programs and purchasing initiatives
  • Coordinating with property operations, maintenance, and construction teams
  • Assisting with issue resolution and vendor-related operational needs
  • Monitoring vendor utilization, pricing, service quality, and performance
  • Analyzing data and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Developing recommendations to strengthen vendor partnerships
  • Supporting process improvements across the vendor management function
