About The Position

Join Filtrex, a leading mechanical company focused on nationwide HVAC/R Preventive Maintenance across various equipment types. We offer an exciting career opportunity as an HVAC/R Service Manager, leading a rapidly expanding team. As the HVAC/R Service Manager, you'll oversee high-level operations within the Service Department, effectively carrying out the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities: Establish and accomplish departmental goals and objectives. Develop and enforce company/client standards and expectations. Serve as the primary contact for Supervisors and Trainers. Ensure up-to-date and effective training materials to facilitate proper equipment maintenance, start-up, and operation for customer satisfaction. Conduct performance appraisals and reviews. Optimize service schedules and routes. Promptly and professionally address client inquiries. Provide client feedback to the company for continuous improvement. Oversee OSHA requirements and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in ICE Machine and commercial HVAC systems.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Minimum two years of office and management experience.
  • Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
  • Post-high school education from college, trade school, or the military.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and background.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of HVAC/R service technician experience (preferred).
