Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven logistics sales experience.
  • Documented history of exceeding targets in B2B or enterprise sales.
  • A strong, existing network primarily focused on FTL Reefer and Produce.
  • Deep knowledge of the Central California produce landscape and the unique requirements of temperature-controlled freight.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, particularly in navigating high-pressure environments of seasonal produce spikes.
  • A self-driven leader who builds trust and delivers results with “Hustle and Heart”.

Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line revenue by leveraging existing relationships with California’s growers and shippers.
  • Expand the company's footprint in the produce and refrigerated logistics sector in California and beyond.
  • Ensure that customers' most sensitive commodities move with integrity.
  • Target and secure high-volume reefer and produce accounts throughout Central and Northern California.
  • Drive growth across core refrigerated and dry commodity lines, including strawberries, pistachios, broccoli, dried fruit, and nuts.
  • Expand reach into temperature-controlled specialty items such as wine, cherries, beer, chocolate, meats, and cut flowers.
  • Strategically manage and grow shipments from a wide geographical range in California.
  • Implement modern technology and data into the sales approach to benefit the customer's bottom line.
  • Work directly with the San Mateo team to accelerate branch success and build long-term, multi-million-dollar partnerships.
