About The Position

The National Nurse Practitioner Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with healthcare partners secured by the Nurse Practitioner Partnership Director. This role focuses on driving student enrollment, expanding clinical placement opportunities, and ensuring long-term partner success. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring alignment between partner needs and university program offerings while supporting clinical capacity and student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare account management, partnerships, or business development
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and drive measurable outcomes (e.g., enrollment, utilization, or program growth)
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar) to manage accounts and track performance
  • Strong understanding of clinical placement processes and healthcare partner engagement
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced, national environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% nationally

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned healthcare partners.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen partnerships to drive ongoing student enrollment and long-term engagement.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and maintain consistent communication to ensure partner satisfaction and growth.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities to increase student enrollment, including cohort development, workforce alignment, and program expansion.
  • Support execution of initiatives that convert partnership opportunities into enrolled students.
  • Partner with healthcare organizations and internal clinical teams to ensure sufficient, high-quality clinical placements for nurse practitioner students.
  • Help expand preceptor networks and address placement gaps in alignment with program requirements.
  • Support the partnership lifecycle post-sale by maintaining visibility into partner performance, opportunities for expansion, and renewal activities.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track engagement, enrollment outcomes, and partnership performance metrics, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Work closely with admissions, clinical coordinators, academic leadership, marketing, and the partnership director to align partner activity with enrollment goals, program delivery, and student success outcomes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of nurse practitioner program requirements, clinical placement standards, and regulatory/accreditation considerations to ensure partnerships remain compliant and effective.
  • Proactively identify and resolve partner concerns related to student experience, clinical placements, or program alignment.
  • Act as an advocate for both the partner and the institution to ensure mutual success.
  • Provide insights from partners to inform program improvements, competitive positioning, and future partnership strategy.
