About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., was founded in 1978 and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. It is engaged in the construction and sale of high quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The Company also provides mortgage financing and title services for homebuyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries. D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a National Marketing Manager-FS. The right candidate will support the Marketing/Business Development Manager in the daily operations of the DHI Mortgage Marketing department. Assist in team development and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Five or more years related experience
  • Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all employees, including the executive committee
  • Must be able to work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of mortgage processes and terminology a plus
  • Provide a positive and supportive example for the department

Responsibilities

  • Manage the activities of the Marketing Department and its staff
  • Drive the branding of DHIFS through marketing collateral, social media exposure and presence and industry event participation.
  • Work in conjunction with the parent company DR Horton to maximize marketing efficiencies and find joint marketing mediums and opportunities.
  • Communicate with various branches and departments to improve products and company image
  • Work with the Compliance Department to ensure requirements are clearly communicated between the Marketing and Compliance teams
  • Review new custom marketing material and new template designs for brand standards and compliance requirements
  • Assist in new project roll outs and implementations
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
