This role has responsibility for analysts and 1 reporting specialist with a highly specialized skill set, and the timely and accurate development of pricing proposals for National Accounts customers (175 existing and all prospects), as well as large regional/local customers as requested. In a typical year, the team evaluates 1-2MM+ tons ($1-$2B annually) of NAC volume and is charged with improving annual contribution dollars in excess of $800MM while maintaining/growing relationships with both internal and external customers. As the subject matter expert on pricing strategy and customer proposals this position is key to the success of our National Accounts organization. The average turnaround time for bids is two weeks (end to end) making organization, analytical and time management skills paramount to success. Also, the manager's ability to strategize and creatively develop optimal solutions and comprehensive pricing proposals is expected. In addition, the manager is responsible for all National Accounts monthly reporting (5MM tons and $5 billion sales) and critical EBITDA forecasting.
