About The Position

At MJH Life Sciences, we are seeking a National Accounts Manager who is strategic, driven, and ready to own a portfolio of key accounts across diverse territories. You will identify and close new business, deepen relationships with existing clients, and develop tailored solutions that create real value for the customers you serve. This role is for a results-oriented sales professional who leads with insight, brings a consultative approach to every conversation, and uses every tool available — including AI — to work smarter, move faster, and consistently exceed revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management or sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a competitive environment
  • An AI-native mindset. You actively use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or AI-powered sales platforms to research accounts, craft outreach, analyze pipeline, and work more efficiently — and you can speak to the results
  • Strong ability to identify sales opportunities and close business across both new and existing accounts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills — you are persuasive, clear, and credible in front of clients at any level
  • Consultative approach to sales — you take the time to understand what clients actually need and build solutions that earn long-term trust
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker who can provide direction and insight to peers on products, competitive positioning, and market trends
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for in-territory client meetings
  • Candidates should be prepared to discuss how they are currently using AI in their sales work. This includes: Specific tools in active use and how they support prospecting, account research, or pipeline management; Measurable impact such as improved win rates, faster pipeline development, or higher engagement from targeted outreach; How you use AI to personalize client engagement at scale while keeping conversations authentic and high quality

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of assigned accounts and territories, identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities across current clients, potential customers, market leaders, and key influencers
  • Drive revenue through a high-activity mix of cold calling, follow-up outreach, virtual meetings, and face-to-face engagement — dedicating up to 25% of your time to in-territory live meetings
  • Use AI tools to research prospects, personalize outreach, prepare for client conversations, and improve the efficiency and quality of your sales activity across the full pipeline
  • Research client needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their business objectives and create compelling, differentiated reasons to buy
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategic sales plans with clear milestones and accountability for hitting annual revenue goals
  • Maintain Salesforce.com as your source of truth — logging activity, managing pipeline, and delivering accurate forecasts and metrics that give leadership clear visibility into deal status and path to close
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify new prospects, maintain current contact lists for agencies and marketing companies, and stay ahead of competitive dynamics in your territory
  • Represent MJH Life Sciences at industry events and trade shows, staying current on market trends and vendor solutions and bringing relevant intelligence back to the team and to key accounts
  • Provide strategic input on product offerings and market trends that helps guide the broader sales team
  • Participate in required internal meetings, training sessions, and special projects that support team success
